Stroods is managed by two directors, Lee Tyler and Craig Davies. Working alongside the directors is our Contracts Director Mick Harvey who also oversees our Contracts Managers Dave Rogers, Scott Rawlings and Steve Frost. They provide backup to both management staff and all other employees in every area of the business.

Lee Tyler commenced his career in the building industry as an estimator in 1988 for a local contractor. He attended college and successfully gained a Higher National Certificate (HNC) and went on to join the institute of builders and holds the designation ACIOB. Lee joined Stroods in 1993 and was involved in the development of the company and was soon made a Director. Lee runs the financial side of the company, supervising the office based staff and cost control. He carries out most of the estimating and surveying and runs contracts when required.

Craig Davies commenced his career as an Architectural technician and also achieved an HNC in building and holds the designation ACIOB. Once qualified, he worked for various contractors as a site manager. He joined Stroods in 1996 as a Contracts Manager and was appointed a director in 1997. He now heads the contracts side of the company and supervises all site-based staff and runs his own contracts. He is also responsible for quality control and health and safety.

Mick Harvey was initially employed by Stroods at site level, but has progressed through to management and holds an ISM Management Certificate. Mick was then a Contracts Manager for 6 years but was recently appointed Contracts Director and along with keeping a smooth running of his own projects, oversees the other Contracts Managers.

Dave Rogers is a Stroods contract manager and has worked for Stroods for over 5 years. Initially employed at site level he has progressed through to management level and is now a valued member of the team.

Scott Rawlings joined us in 2006 after working for a similar local contractor for 18 years, therefore has a great understanding of the Building industry. He has also achieved a Higher National Certificate in Construction.

Steve Frost has worked in the Building industry in excess of 20 years. Whilst he works alongside our other Contracts Managers, he is also a fully qualified CAD technician and designer. He undertakes all of our in house design and build works, as well as other current projects.
